Our play room is ready for our new 'Summer Holidays' topic in Rang 1/2.
The children now have the opportunity to;
- check in to the airport and go through security.
- hop on the plane to any country the like.
- stay in our fancy hotel.
- Visit our small world beach.
- buy ice cream at our new ice cream shop.
- watch a puppet show.
This set up will encourage the children to use summer vocabulary. They will reminisce on their own experiences and ask each other questions. The conversations are flowing this week. The children are also using money in our ice cream shop which adds to their math's skills. They are recalling stories from our fairytale topic and putting on a great show with the puppets. Other opportunities are also still available such as our outdoor area, art table and easel and our dough table.
